KEMAH BOB
From Houston, TX and now based in London, Kemah Bob is a comedian, writer, producer, drag king and founder of the FOC IT UP! Comedy Club. Her work is pro-black, sex positive and unapologetically so, using comedy as a tool for enlightenment and empowerment. Kemah has MC’d events performed at clubs, theatres and festivals across the UK.
She is also a regular co-host on The Guilty Feminist podcast and can be seen on Stand Up For Live Comedy (BBC One), Jonathan Ross' Comedy Club (ITV), and upcoming series of Don't Hate The Playaz and Stand-Up Sketch Show (both ITV2). Kemah is also a writer on Quibi's Hello America, the next series of Have I Got News For You and can be seen online, delivering her TEDtalk, What Would Kanye Do?
Outside stand-up, Kemah is also a frequent media commentator surrounding diversity and LGBTQ+ representation within the industry, for various high profile outlets and panels such as; The Guardian, The i Newspaper and Stylist Live.
