Sofie Hagen is a London-based Danish comedian, author, podcaster, and activist. In 2015, Sofie won the Best Newcomer award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for her debut show Bubblewrap. She followed this up with the critically acclaimed sell out shows Shimmer Shatter in 2016, Dead Baby Frog in 2017, The Bumswing in 2019, Fat Jokes in  2022 and Banglord in 2023.

As a successful podcaster, Sofie has hosted BBC Sound's Bad People, Made of Human and several other successful podcasts. Her new comedy podcast with Abby Wambaugh is called Help Hole and launched in January 2024. 

 

With over 181K followers on Instagram, they have grown a huge social media following and is a much in demand speaker and comedian.

 

Sofie's new book "Will I Ever Have Sex Again?" will be published in May 2024. This follows their debut book “Happy Fat”, published in 2019.
