Fern Brady

Bestselling author and Taskmaster fan-favourite Fern Brady is renowned for her caustic wit, exceptional writing, and electric stagecraft.

Her debut memoir, “Strong Female Character,” released in 2023, delves into her Catholic upbringing, experiences with homelessness, and her late diagnosis of autism. The book achieved critical acclaim, becoming a Sunday Times Bestseller and winning the non-fiction category at the inaugural Nero Book Awards. Her debut novel "High Energy Unpleasant" is set to be published in Autumn 2026.

As seen on “Live at the Apollo,” “8 Out of 10 Cats,” and “Frankie Boyle’s New World Order.” In 2022, she was a contestant on the 14th series of “Taskmaster,” where her unique comedic style garnered widespread appreciation.
