Richard Gadd

Three-time Emmy-winning creator, writer, star, and executive producer of the global Netflix phenomenon Baby Reindeer, Richard Gadd, adapted the series from his Olivier Award-winning one-man show. Baby Reindeer has received worldwide acclaim - earning Richard a Peabody Award (2025) and a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Limited Series (2025) as well as the BAFTA for Drama writing. Baby Reindeer began as a sold out run at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe, and London’s Bush Theatre before continuing to become a streaming sensation. Gadd’s next original drama series, Half Man, is currently in production and will be produced by Mam Tor for the BBC and HBO.

Richard won the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Comedy Show at the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe with his hit show Monkey See, Monkey Do. Nominated for the Total Theatre Award for Innovation, and Best Performer at the Off West End Theatre Awards, and earning a Chortle Comedian’s Comedian Award.

Celebrated for both his acting and writing, Gadd won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Lead Performance in a New Scripted Series (2025).
