
Joseph Moore
Taskmaster writer Joseph Moore is a New Zealand Comedian, writer and television director based in London. He is one half of the comedy musical duo, Two Hearts.
He has written on popular NZ comedy shows such as Funny Girls, Jono & Ben, Taskmaster NZ, Taskmaster Australia and Guy Montgomery’s Guy Mont-Spelling Bee. He has also directed segments and episodes of Funny Girls, and the critically acclaimed comedy documentary series New Zealand Today.
Joseph has appeared on televised comedy galas in New Zealand and Australia, and performed shows at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, Edinburgh Fringe, JFL Sydney both and as one half of the musical comedy duo Two Hearts, and as part of the improv group Snort. Along with Laura Daniel, who is also his wife, Joseph co-created “The Sanctuary”, a tv series in pre-production with Warner Bros Discovery in NZ.
He has been nominated twice for the Billy T Award, once as a solo act and once with Two Hearts. Two Hearts were also nominated for the Fred Award for Best Show at the 2021 New Zealand International Comedy Festival.
He currently has two feature film scripts in development with the NZ Film Commission.
