Li Jin Hao

Li Jin Hao is a UK-based comedian, writer, and performer, born in China and raised in Singapore. After serving in the Singapore Army, he moved to Scotland to study at St Andrews and began doing stand-up comedy. Just a few short years later, Jin Hao landed a leading role in Judd Apatow’s upcoming feature film for Universal, THE COMEBACK KING, which Jin Hao stars in opposite Glen Powell, Cristin Milioti, and Madelyn Cline. The film will have a major theatrical release in February 2027.

Jin Hao’s debut hour, Swimming in a Submarine, premiered at the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe, earning him a Best Newcomer nomination, before transferring to London for three sold-out weeks at Soho Theatre and a run at Melbourne International Comedy Festival. He was previously a finalist for the BBC New Comedy Awards (2023), Channel 4 Sean Lock Awards and Chortle Student Comedian of the Year (2022), was accepted into the prestigious Pleasance Comedy Reserve and has toured with Celya AB, Olga Koch, and Tom Stade.

His TV appearances include Mitchell And Webb Are Not Helping (Channel 4), Silence is Golden (Dave), Comedy Central Live (Comedy Central), The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2), and ITVX Presents: Live Comedy From the Edinburgh Fringe.
