Ozzy Algar

Double Comedian’s Choice Award nominee Ozzy Algar is a comedian, writer, actor and storyteller. Their debut hour Speed Queen was one of the best reviewed comedy shows at the Edinburgh Fringe 2025 (British Comedy Guide). Set in the last launderette on the Isle of Wight, the show blended dark comedy with folktales, myths and hidden histories, establishing Ozzy as a distinctive new voice.

Ozzy was a Leicester Square Theatre Sketch Off! Finalist in 2024 and trained at L’Ecole Philippe Gaulier. They were a Young Associate Artist at the Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith (2022–23), and played the lead in DARKFIELD’s immersive audio-theatre show ARCADE, which premiered at BFI London Film Festival Southbank and has since toured internationally.
