Edinburgh Best Newcomer winner, multi‑podcast creator & award‑winning author Sofie Hagen exploded onto the UK comedy scene with her debut Edinburgh Fringe show Bubblewrap, winning the Edinburgh Fringe Best Newcomer in 2015 and securing both the Chortle Best Newcomer (2014) and Laughing Horse New Act of the Year (2013) awards. She followed up with acclaimed solo shows Shimmer Shatter (2016), Dead Baby Frog (2017), The Bumswing (2019), Fat Jokes (2022), and Banglord (2024).
An award‑winning podcaster, Sofie has hosted BBC Sound's Bad People, Made of Human and several other successful podcasts. Her new comedy podcast with Abby Wambaugh is called Help Hole and launched in January 2024.
